The VaFL Diane Greiner Award
This $200 scholarship is for VaFL graduating seniors who have excelled in Interpretive and non-Interpretive events.

The VaFL Adelle Gunn Award
This award is given to coaches who are committed, not only to their own students, but the students, coaches, and teams of the league in which they coach. The Adelle Gunn Coaching Award honors long-time coach at T.C. Williams High School. The Gunn Coaching Award does not measure the success of the coach as a competitor, but the commitment of a coach to the success of others.

The VaFL Kay Richard Award
This award is given in commemoration of Chantilly High School student, Kay Richard, for her service and dedication to her teammates. This award acknowledges a student’s putting the needs of his or her teammates ahead of his or her own.

|
NFL Mid-Atlantic Martha Carr Senior Scholarship
This $150 scholarship is for NFL seniors who have excelled in forensics and academics. Thanks to the generosity of long-time Mid-Atlantic forensics coach at W.T. Woodson High School and Chairman Emerita, Martha Carr, this $150 scholarship is presented to an outstanding debater in January and an outstanding debater in February. Nominees will meet with the District Scholarship Committee at each National Qualifying Tournament for a short interview.

NFL Mid-Atlantic Harold Keller Coaching Award
This annual award is presented to coaches who are committed, not only to their own students, but to the students, coaches, and teams of the Mid-Atlantic District. The Harold Kellor Coaching Award is given in honor of long-time NFL Executive Committee Member and friend of the NFL Mid-Atlantic District, Harold Kellor, former coach at Davenport, Iowa. The Kellor Coaching Award measures commitment beyond the round and the trophy and weighs a coach’s dedication to the field of forensics and support of this discipline across the state.

NFL Sue Stephany Summer Forensics Scholarship
This annual award is presented to students who are committed to excellence in the art of forensics. The Sue Stephany Scholarship is given in honor of long-time Colonial Beach Coach, Sue Stephany, who positively impacted speech in the state with her positive and upbeat attitude . The Stephany Scholarship will pay toward tuition at a Virginia forensics camp. Selection will be made by the NFL District Committee based on attitude, performance, and accomplishments.
